The R&D journey of Dideban began in April 2023, addressing the need for a fully offline, on-premise facial identity system capable of continuous recognition beyond access gates.
Phase 1: Technical Studies & Feasibility
Field studies revealed that gate-based, archival, and cloud-dependent solutions were unsuitable for industrial security. This phase concluded with the decision to adopt a fully offline GPU Cluster architecture.
Phase 2: System Architecture Design
Designed a scalable GPU Cluster architecture, real-time video processing pipeline, and layered facial detection and identity matching system.
Phase 3: Core AI Engine Development
Developed the facial recognition engine optimized for real-world conditions, high-traffic environments, and real-time response.
Phase 4: Field Testing & Pilot Deployment
Conducted operational pilots at Isfahan Science Town and Mobarakeh Steel Company, refining performance and system stability.
Phase 5: Current System Status
Dideban has reached technological maturity, supporting full on-premise deployment, organizational pilots, and gradual commercialization.
